Why become a Rose?
Participating in the Rose of Tralee is an unforgettable opportunity for young women. Partaking in the local selection alone is a fantastic event in which the participating Rose entrants may make lifelong friends, memories, and connections. Entrants will enjoy special events organized by the San Francisco Rose Center throughout the selection process.
If selected, the lucky young woman is titled The San Francisco Rose and will travel to Ireland to participate in the Rose of Tralee International Festival, which features Roses from all over the world, and take part in all the festival has to offer - including worldwide television coverage and press attention. Accommodation and meals will be courtesy of The Rose of Tralee International Festival throughout the Rose Tour of Ireland.
Prize Includes
* A stipend to participate in the Festival, held in Tralee, Co. Kerry
* An all-expenses-paid stay in Ireland courtesy of The Rose Of Tralee International Festival, including hair and makeup for TV appearance
* Photos taken the night of the event which may be used as press photos for Ireland
* Plus potential gifts from our sponsors
